Jointly sanctioned by Trust Golf, the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association (TLPGA), and the Taiwan Professional Golfers' Association (TPGA), the international event “TRUSTGOLF Asian Mixed” will be held over three tournaments from July through August at the Lake View Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand. The first tournament will take place from Thursday, July 24 to Saturday, July 26, with a 54-hole, three-round stroke play format. Representing the TLPGA, a strong field of 40 female players from five countries—Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore—will compete, including standout golfers such as Tseng Cheng, Chou Yi-tsen, Chang Ching-ling, and Chen Ling-chieh. These players are already en route to Thailand to take on their male counterparts from TPGA and Trust Golf.
To announce this landmark international collaboration, a virtual press conference was held today at 5:00 p.m. Taipei time, co-hosted by Trust Golf, TLPGA, and TPGA. Dr. Prin Singhanart, founder of Trust Golf, opened the conference by stating:
“We’re deeply grateful to both TLPGA and TPGA for working together with Trust Golf to organize this event. I understand this is the first time TLPGA and TPGA have co-sanctioned a tournament and sent their top male and female players abroad. For Trust Golf, it is a true honor to host both tours here. We sincerely hope this collaboration will continue into the future.”
TLPGA Chairwoman Liu Yi-chen emphasized:
“TLPGA has always aimed to create an international platform for cross-cultural growth and competition. That’s why we immediately agreed to this inaugural collaboration with Trust Golf and signed on for all three tournaments. This competition format is especially unique, marking the first time Trust Golf, TLPGA, and TPGA players will compete in the same official ranking tournament—a truly historic moment. Thai golf courses are not only world-renowned but also appealing travel destinations. Later this month, I will personally lead our 40-player TLPGA delegation to Hua Hin’s Lake View Golf Club. I hope everyone will perform at their best, and I look forward to seeing a female champion emerge.”
TPGA Chairman Chen Jung-hsing added:
“This is an unprecedented initiative and a very promising start. Through this series, players from all three organizations will build camaraderie and sharpen their competitive edge. It also lays the groundwork for deeper future partnerships, and we look forward to hosting even more joint events. I hope to see you all at the end of July.”
The inaugural leg of the TRUSTGOLF Asian Mixed offers a total purse of 5 million Thai baht. It will be contested over three rounds (54 holes) in a mixed-gender stroke play format. The field will include 40 players from the TLPGA Tour, 40 from the TPGA Tour, and 52 players representing Trust Golf.
