The 2024 ThreeBond TPGA Challenge Tour final event, the T.C. Chen Elite Challenge
Tour, with a total prize fund of TWD 1.5 million, kicks off tomorrow (November 27)
at the Miramar Golf Country Club. This year marks the first time the Elite Challenge
Tour has been renamed the T.C. Chen Elite Challenge Tour, and its prize fund has
been increased from TWD 1 million to TWD 1.5 million, elevating the
competitiveness and viewership appeal of the season finale and the race for the
annual prize leader title.
This year also celebrates the 10th anniversary of ThreeBond’s title sponsorship of
the TPGA Challenge Tour. To commemorate this milestone and express gratitude to
former TPGA Chairman Chen Tze-chung for his support of the Challenge Tour,
ThreeBond decided to rename the final event to the "T.C. Chen Elite Challenge Tour"
and increase the total prize fund from TWD 1 million to TWD 1.5 million. The
winner's prize has also been raised to TWD 270,000.
With the final standings determining the championship title, the annual prize leader
title, and next year’s Taiwan Tour qualification, players are expected to give their all
to achieve top positions, intensifying the competition.
Currently, Su Ching-hung tops the annual prize money rankings for the ThreeBond
Challenge Tour. Last year’s final event winner at Taipei Golf Club was Jan Chia-han.
The finale consists of two rounds (36 holes) with no cuts. The champion will receive
TWD 270,000, the runner-up TWD 150,000, and the third-place finisher TWD 90,000.
A total of 40 players will compete, including the top 34 players from the Challenge
Tour’s most recent prize rankings, two Taiwan Tour seed players, and players
recommended by the event’s organizers and sponsors. All participants will receive
prize money, with those finishing in 36th to 40th place earning TWD 10,000 each.
The event is sponsored by ThreeBond, organized by the Taiwan Professional Golf
Association, and co-organized by the Miramar Golf Country Club. The course
measures 6,784 yards and spans the club’s East and North sections.
The tournament’s results will also determine the ThreeBond Challenge Tour prize
leader and next year’s Taiwan Tour qualifications. The prize leader will receive an
additional special bonus of TWD 500,000 provided by Taiwan Fu Hsing Industrial Co.,
while the second and third places will receive TWD 300,000 and TWD 200,000,
respectively. The top three players in the annual prize rankings will secure automatic
entry into next year’s Taiwan Tour.
Currently, the top 10 players in the ThreeBond Challenge Tour annual prize rankings
are as follows:
1. Su Ching-hung – TWD 842,500
2. Hsiao He-yu – TWD 367,462

Although Su Ching-hung has already secured the title of ThreeBond Challenge Tour
Prize Leader with four wins this season, players ranked second through tenth still
have the chance to climb into the top three with the championship prize, making this
final event a fiercely contested battle.
Chairman Lin Jui-chang of Taiwan Fu Hsing Industrial Co. continues to sponsor the
TPGA Taiwan Tour and the ThreeBond Challenge Tour prize leader bonuses. This
year, he has increased the bonuses for the top three prize leaders in both tours to
TWD 500,000, TWD 300,000, and TWD 200,000, respectively, totaling TWD 2 million.
Taiwan Fu Hsing has supported the prize leader bonuses for the TPGA Taiwan Tour
